The lovely Lauren joined the society for Patience 2006, and hasn't managed to escape from our corrupting influences yet. She has also joined the (very slender) ranks of those who can give orders in safety to society God-King Chris Charlton.
Lauren has played Lady Angela in Patience, General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls, Kate in The Pirates of Penzance and Dame Hannah in Ruddigore. She was also chair 2007-08, ruling the society with a rod of iron (or should that be cardboard painted to look like iron?) Lauren tries to perpetuate the rumour that she is nice and sweet and fluffy and harmless, but we know that those are actually the most dangerous type of people…as all find out who dare to lay an unlicensed hand on old Steven Trusty's daughter! (I don't think any of us could ever forget that scene!)
Lauren then took on the challenge of co-directing Mikado 09. Having survived, she returned to the cast as Mrs Partlett in The Sorcerer 2010.
